Another busy year comes to an end. Time for a few day’s rest before it all starts again! I hope you can also take some time off for some rest and enjoy the festive season with family and friends.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our new clients for coming aboard this year and putting your trust in our software and services and of course to also thank our clients from years past including some who have been with us since 1989. I would also like to thank those of you who have recommended our software to your friends. The majority of our new clients in 2024 came via a word-of-mouth recommendation.

In the last six months, we have added a total of 42 new features to agCommander. That’s way too many to detail in this newsletter. Those of you running agCommander can see the complete listing of newly added features by clicking on the Release Notes button on the About/Information tab in the program. We have now almost caught up with adding all the features requested by you in the Feature Requests and Suggestions listing.

In late August I flew to NZ to run a training session in Ashburton for some of our new agCommander clients, all members of the FAR organisation, who (in the main) farm in the beautiful Canterbury Plains area. It was a great day. Feedback from the day was excellent. Thanks again to all who attended.

Here is a shot of the crowd of 63 as we were packing up at the end of the day.

All of the attendees were formerly ProductionWise clients. ProductionWise closed down at the end of June and we created a data migration system for them to move to agCommander.

Another achievement in the past 6 months was the release of our newest product METLOG, a program that reads, charts and analyses data from various weather stations. It can plot data from data from different brands of weather stations on the same chart. For more information check out this web site. We were enhancing METLOG and added new features right up to the last week following feedback from our main distributor based in Costa Rica.

MindMyAssets2 continues to attract clients around the world (it is available in 6 languages) and from an array of different industries. Meanwhile the Asset Manager Pro module of agCommander, which has the same features as MindMyAssets2, is gaining popularity. We are aware of several clients who have abandoned other asset management systems in favour of using the Asset Manager Pro module. Check out this website for more information

Over the last few weeks some of our team have been building an integration with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central for one of our clients based in South Australia. This will be finished very soon. If any of you are interested in having us add that functionality to your agCommander, please let us know and we can start the discussion.

In early 2025 I am traveling to Texas in the US for meetings and to run some training courses to bring the US based RAVAHTECH team up to speed with the functionality of agCommander. I look forward to meeting face to face with a lot of people who I have only ever met online, and I also look forward to the possibilities we are exploring in that market.

Meanwhile, Festive Greetings from me, Roger Wiese CEO, and from all the agCommander Team & have a great 2025!
