Controlled business unit access
Business units can be set up so only the Group Manager team can access them — farm owners do not need login access unless you choose to provide it.
Enterprise variant
Enterprise Group Manager is a descendant of agCOMMANDER Enterprise. A Group Manager Subscriber (GMS) manages farmer clients as separate business units under a single subscription. Each farmer client is a Group Manager Client (GMC).
Use it when you need one place to standardise inputs, reporting and permissions across many farms — without treating those farms as a single corporate enterprise.
Group Manager inherits the core multi-business-unit strengths of Enterprise.
Business units can be set up so only the Group Manager team can access them — farm owners do not need login access unless you choose to provide it.
Maintain a common catalogue of consumables, operations, crop types and manual tasks across client business units.
Run consolidated and comparative reporting across the client portfolio you manage.
Control who can log into which business units, with role-based permissions that match how your team works.
Designed for many independent clients rather than one shared corporate structure.
Assets, contacts, staff, and livestock categories/subcategories are not shared across business units — each client keeps its own lists.
Each client business unit is an add-on in the Group Manager model. You scale by the number of BUs you manage.
Advanced modules are not on by default for every client. Each GMC business unit can purchase the add-ons it needs.
A dedicated user type that can set default application rates, consumable stock-on-hand tracking, and default hours/area settings for their business unit.
From the business unit configuration screen, the Group Manager can switch a client BU into Simplified Mode. That turns off advanced modules the client does not need — including work orders, inventory of consumables, NDVI imagery, precision integrations, QA records, overheads, harvest contracts and related workflows — on both desktop and mobile.
Keep the day-to-day experience focused for the farmer, while your team retains the Enterprise Group Manager toolkit above them.
